Mr. Safford Sr.

I was born in Waterloo, Nebraska where I accepted Christ as Savior at the age of 8 or 9. I attended church with my family at a rural very small (20 members) church after high school; I was lead by the Lord to Grace Bible Institute where I earned a general Bible Diploma in 1959. I also met my wife there. We were married in 1959 and I earned my degree in education at University of Nebraska Lincoln in 1962. We decide that God would have to guide us in our summer activities. He led us to manage Bible Campus in Nebraska, Minnesota and Wisconsin. We have also served as pastor at 2 rural churches. God guided us and protected us as a public school teacher for 39 years at Wahoo, Nebraska and Winterset, Iowa. Where he allowed me to lead at least one of my students per year to faith in Him. Since retiring in 2001, God has given me a fruitful ministry of subbing in public schools and serving here at Grandview for the past year in the resource room. We have 4 children and 15 grandchildren.
