I grew up a Christian home. My dad was the pastor of a little church in New Virginia, Iowa. As a pastor's child, we went to church every Sunday. When I was five years old, I recognized that I was a sinner and needed Christ as my Savior. At the age of thirteen I was baptized. When I was seven years old my family went to the mission field of Germany. God used growing up in Germany and helping my parents in the ministry, to shape and mold my life. After graduating from high school in Germany, I returned to the United States to attend Faith Baptist Bible College.

Blessed is the man
who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked
or stand in the way of sinners
or sit in the seat of mockers.But his delight is in the law of the LORD,
and on his law he meditates day and night.He is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither.Whatever he does prospers.Not so the wicked! They are like chaff
that the wind blows away.Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,
nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous. For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous,but the way of the wicked will perish.
Philippians 1:9-11
And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ–to the glory and praise of God. |
