- Friday, April 18: "The Ultimate Challenge" Seminar, 9:00am - 3:00pm. This free seminar will be led by Dr. Jim Jeffery, President of Baptist Bible College & Seminary of Clarks Summit, PA.
- Saturday, April 19: GPBS Promotional Banquet with Dr. Jim Jeffery, Des Moines Marriott, 6:30pm.
- Sunday, April 20: Dr. Jim Jeffery will speak during the 10:00am Worship Service. GPBS Sounds of Praise will minister in song during the 6:00pm Evening Service.
- Wednesday, April 23: Awana Awards Night.

- Sunday, May 4: Communion during the 10:00am Worship Service.
- Wednesday, May 7: 1st Wednesday Prayer, 7:00pm, Worship Center.
- Wednesdays, May 7 - June 11: Christianity Explored, 7:00pm. This six-week, DVD-led, informal course is for people who'd like to investigate Christianity, or just brush up on the basics. It explores who Jesus was, what his aims were, and what it means to follow him. Participants won't be asked to pray or sing, and they can ask any questions they would like. Or, if they prefer, they can just come and listen. Childcare is available. If you would like to register or have questions, please contact the church office.

- Sunday, May 11: Mother's Day.
- Parent & Child Dedication during the 10:00am Worship Service. The Parent & Child Dedication is offered as a ministry to parents in our membership who have children under 24 months old. Participants are required to attend two orientation classes on April 27 and May 4 at 9:00 am. Please contact the church office to register for classes.
- Praise Kids & Little Praise Kids sing during the 10:00am Worship Service.
- Friday, May 23: Iowa Cubs game.
- Monday, May 26: Memorial Day. Church and school offices closed.
June
- Sunday, June 1: Kids Bible Club begins, 6:00pm.
- Wednesday, June 4: 1st Wednesday Prayer, 7:00pm.
- Saturday, June 7: Family Service Day--help folks with yard work and cleaning.
- June 16-21: Junior Boys Camp at Iowa Regular Baptist Camp.
- June 23-28: Junior Girls Camp at Iowa Regular Baptist Camp.
- June 27-28: Father-Son Campout.
