Grandview Recieves Top Rating in Spring '07

The high school choir had the opportunity to compete in the IHSMA (Iowa High School Music Association) Large Group Festival. Because of scheduling they competed at the 2A/4A level at Newton High School on May 5. The choir received a I-Superior rating from the judges.

Only four Superior ratings were given out on the day. Two of which were to 4A schools in attendance.

"The students have worked very hard and have earned the grade they received," responded Mr. Nilius.

Upcoming Concerts:

Nov 29: 5th-12th Choir, 7:00 pm
Dec 6: 6th-12th Band, 7:00 pm
Dec 13: P3-4th Christmas, 7:00 pm

The Grandview Park Baptist High School SOP accepted an invitation to sing at the Ola Babcock Miller building (part of the Capital Complex) and the Kaleidoscop on Friday, December 7th.

Choir is directed by Mr. Nilius.
