Therefore, be not anxious saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, With what shall we be clothed? For after all these things do the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you. Be, therefore, not anxious about tomorrow; for tomorrow will be anxious for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is its own evil.
–Matthew 6:31-34

Endeavor to honor God with your life choices. Do your best to be prepared: academically, socially, and spiritually; but do not be consumed with the fear of making “the wrong choice”. If you are actively committing your way unto Him, He will direct your paths.

The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and he delighteth in His way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; for the LORD upholdeth him with His hand. I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken nor His seed begging bread. He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and His seed is blessed.
–Psalm 37:23-26

Having gone through the process several times myself, I know the struggle of determining what the best choice of college, career, job, and even ministry. Know that God want to use you and wants great things in your life. Know also what is often referred to as “God’s Will” is not intended to be mysterious; He tells us in His written word what He wants us to do. Yes His instructions are made in a general way to all of mankind; yet, He promises that as we obey, He will direct our paths. I believe this to mean that as we are accepting the Lord’s general directions, He will give more specific direction by using His word, His people, and His circumstances.

As once I was told, “You can’t steer a parked car.”

May you find CC Prep useful as He directs your path. –Mr. Taylor
